Printer AI Privacy Policy

Printer AI helps you scan, prepare, sign, share and print documents. This policy explains the information handled by the app and its services. The publisher identified on your store listing is responsible for Printer AI. Contact us through Printer AI support.

Delete your account

You can request deletion without installing Printer AI. Send your request to the support page, using the email address of your subscription account. Include Printer AI account deletion in the subject. If you cannot access that address, explain this so support can help verify ownership. Do not send your password, payment-card details or private documents. We verify your control of the account before deleting it and confirm when the request is fulfilled.

Account deletion removes your Firebase sign-in, subscription-account links, device registrations and submitted AI reports. Your local documents and exported copies remain on their devices. Minimal purchase, usage and security records may be retained to prevent fraud, enforce service limits or meet billing obligations. Deletion does not cancel your Apple or Google subscription; cancellation is available separately in your store. You do not need to cancel first to request deletion.

In the app, use Settings → Subscription account → Delete account. Enter your current password when asked. If cleanup is interrupted, use Finish account deletion to retry. Anonymous AI data and local documents have separate deletion controls described below.

Documents, signatures and printers

Documents, extracted text, annotations, saved signatures, folders, printer addresses and print history are stored in the app's private storage on your device. Camera scanning and text recognition happen on your device. We do not operate a cloud document library or automatically upload your documents to our server. Your operating system's device backup or transfer settings may apply to local app data.

The app accesses your camera, selected photos and files, and local network only for the features you use. You can change permissions in device Settings. A printer receives the document and job settings you send. Your operating system, printer and any print-service provider may retain print jobs under their own settings. When you share or export, the recipient app or destination controls the resulting copy.

Files sent into Printer AI through a share sheet wait in a private inbox until you import or remove them. Export copies are cached for sharing; old export folders are cleared during later exports and may be removed by the operating system. Deleting local data also removes these cached exports. Opening a website to make a PDF contacts that website, which can process your IP address and browser data.

At launch, Printer AI checks locally whether WhatsApp can be opened to decide whether to offer an optional store review. This result is not saved or sent to us. Reviews are handled by Apple or Google through their native store interface; choosing not to review does not affect your app access.

Optional AI assistance

Before each AI action, the app shows the text to be sent and asks you to continue or keep it on your device. You can edit the selection first. We send the approved text, chosen action and translation language to our secured service. We do not send the source document image, saved signature or entire library with that request. An action accepts at most 20,000 characters. Review AI results before using them; they can contain mistakes.

Our service sends this text through OpenRouter to the configured model provider: Microsoft Azure for OpenAI GPT-4.1 mini, or Google Vertex AI for Gemini 2.5 Flash when the primary service is unavailable. Requests require routes that allow no training and zero data retention. If no permitted route is available, the action fails. We do not use your documents to train models. OpenRouter and the providers process the request to return its result; their privacy and security terms also apply.

We do not save AI request text or generated results in our server database. Results you choose to save become local documents. If you explicitly report a result, the submitted result text, your selected reason, report identifier and date are stored so we can investigate. Those reports remain until you delete AI data or ask support to remove them. Avoid sending information that you are not authorized to share.

Identity, purchases and service security

Creating a subscription account is optional. You may provide an email and password to Google Firebase Authentication to sign in, verify your email, reset a password and recover a linked active subscription on another device. Our backend associates the Firebase account identifier with the store-verified purchase. This does not synchronize your document library. Without a subscription account, AI and its privacy controls use a Firebase anonymous identity. The app uses an app-generated device key and integrity checks. Google Firebase Authentication, Google Play Integrity and Apple's App Attest or DeviceCheck process the identifiers and attestation information needed to verify the app and protect the service.

Apple or Google handles subscription payments and payment details. We do not receive your card number. The app reads current store ownership. Our AI service independently verifies purchase references and stores encrypted purchase references, product and access status, device associations and verification times. We keep request identifiers, operation status, usage counts and timestamps to enforce allowances and prevent replay, misuse and duplicate work. These security and billing records contain no AI document text. Requests also expose connection information such as IP address to the services delivering them.

Usage and crash diagnostics

Printer AI uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to understand feature use and improve reliability. Diagnostics can include app-instance or installation identifiers, app and operating system versions, device characteristics, session information, feature events and crash stack traces. Our feature events contain no document text, document names, signatures or printer addresses. We send exception types and code stack traces instead of document-bearing exception messages. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalization are disabled in the app. We do not sell your data or use it to track you for advertising across other companies' apps and websites.

You can turn off Usage & crash diagnostics in Settings → Privacy & data. This stops future optional collection, resets the local Analytics identifier and removes unsent crash reports. It does not remove information already received by Google. Google's published retention includes 90 days for Crashlytics crash traces and associated identifiers before removal begins; Analytics retention depends on the service's configured retention rules. Your choices and deletion

Privacy, support, restore and deletion controls remain available without a subscription. Settings → Privacy & data offers these separate actions:

• View AI records shows this device's server registration and the reports you submitted.
• Delete AI data removes submitted reports, detaches this device from AI access, cancels its pending AI work,

deletes its anonymous Firebase identity and removes its signing key. Local documents remain on your device. An internet connection is needed, and the app confirms completion only after the services acknowledge it. If you have a subscription account, this control directs you to account deletion instead.

• Delete local documents removes documents, saved signatures, saved printers, print history, waiting shared

items and cached exports from this app on this device. Copies already exported, printed or backed up elsewhere remain controlled by their destination. You may also delete individual documents and saved signatures.

Minimal security, usage and purchase records remain after AI deletion where needed to prevent fraud, enforce service limits or meet billing obligations. They are not a retained copy of your documents or reports. Firebase states that deleted authentication data is removed from its live and backup systems within 180 days. Using AI after deletion creates a new anonymous identity. Deleting data or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription; use Manage subscription in Settings to open Apple or Google's subscription controls.

You may contact support to request access, correction or deletion, or ask about retained records. If you contact us, we receive the details you choose to include and use them to respond. Do not include a password, payment-card information or private document unless it is necessary to explain your request. Your rights depend on your location; you may also raise a concern with your local data-protection authority.

Service providers, security and changes

Our hosting, network, authentication, AI, diagnostics and payment providers process information to deliver these features. Processing may occur outside your country. Network requests to our services and AI providers use HTTPS; private documents remain subject to your device's security and the destinations you choose. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

Printer AI is a general-purpose document tool, not a service directed at children. If you believe a child provided personal information to our service, contact support. We may update this policy as the app changes; the effective date identifies the current version. Material new uses of document contents require a new choice.
